- Start ALSong.
- On the main menu, click [File] >
[Open] and choose an option from the flyout to add audio files
that you wish to add to ALSong's playlist. You can also right-click
on ALSong and choose [Open] to add your audio
files. "Opening" files, folders, or URLs clears the playlist.
- Open File: Use this to add a file or group of files to
the playlist. (Clears the playlist.)
- Open Folder: Use this to add all the audio files in a folder
to the playlist. (Clears the playlist.)
- Open URL: Use this to type in an Internet address for an
audio file or broadcast. (Clears the playlist.)
Also, on the main menu you can click [File]
> [Add] or right-click on ALSong and choose
[Add].
- Add File: Use this to add a file or group of files to the
playlist. (Preserves the existing playlist.)
- Add Folder: Use this to add all the audio files in a folder
to the playlist. (Preserves the existing playlist.)
- Add URL: Use this to type in an Internet address for an
audio file or broadcast. (Preserves the playlist.)
- After choosing an Open/Add File/Folder/URL option, a dialog box opens.
- Choose the file/folder/URL that you wish to open/add and click the
[Open].
- The audio files appear in the playlist.
